So far, we are trying to keep track of 345 of our Classmates. Most of them 'walked' with us on graduation day, but some of them were with us only some of our thirteen years in the Ossining School System, perhaps having departed early before our actual Graduation Day ceremony. In any event, every one of those 345 was sitting at desks next to us at some point during those school years. Whether they were classmates, playmates, or neighborhood mates, we all shared our common grade level. We also all experienced the Village of Ossining at the same time, knew the same K-12 school experiences and teachers, and shared a common and unique culture of 'our' generation. And that's what we are celebrating here: those many intersecting aspects of our lives that make us a 'family' of sorts — we are blessed with a connection and an identity that cannot be denied, nor can it be ignored. So let's embrace it!
